Sad but true, though thankfully not true for all of us.Andrew Singletonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11673666588897710012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-567004282879604566.post-52882095664363629832009-04-04T14:59:00.000+01:002009-04-04T14:59:00.000+01:00Lisbeth,I thank you for your views. In answer to yo...Lisbeth,

I thank you for your views.

In answer to your question, I am not man, I am not woman, I am an idea, and ideas do not need money to live on.

Hence this blog, I thank you for your time in reading my views.

Yours,

V.Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10477520167529637992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-567004282879604566.post-71205815157415841542009-04-02T18:45:00.000+01:002009-04-02T18:45:00.000+01:00I'm replying not because I disagree with your view...I'm replying not because I disagree with your views, but simply to present an opposing viewpoint. As a student of sosiology, it's become a habit to challenge everything.

Why are illegal immigrants more easily employed than the country's own citizens? Easy, it costs less money. The question is why are some companies able and/or allowed to do that in the first place? We've come to the point where we want to make the most money and spend the least.

Second, the reason why we want more hypermarkets over small shops is the same as we can't live without governments; we like things done easy for us. We like to go to one place and have our needs met in the fastest, cheapest and easiest way. That's why we've built organizations that have control over us and make decisions for us, and also why we've become used to having our groceries done in one stop. We like being served. There's no point in going to one store for one thing and to another for another, it's easier and nowadays more economical to concentrate your shopping in one place.

Small shops have their downsides too. Bigger chainmarkets keep the prices low, while small businesses would include all their expenses in their prices. Small businesses are going down because they can't compete in prices with the companies that move plenty of goods.

As for Jade Goody... I don't know her story, but it seemed like a new low for the media. Today it's not who tells the most informative story, but the most exploitative.

I've recently found your blog and I've become one of your loyal readers, I love a man with a way with words.

One question though, to challenge what you brought up yourself; What does V do for a living?Lisbethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-567004282879604566.post-40371592851248636472009-04-02T00:08:00.000+01:002009-04-02T00:08:00.000+01:00i suggest resurrection of the Weatherman organizat...i suggest resurrection of the Weatherman organization... nahAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-567004282879604566.post-39804047457297007642009-04-01T18:13:00.000+01:002009-04-01T18:13:00.000+01:00Glad to be certain that you haven't abandoned this...Glad to be certain that you haven't abandoned this blog of yours, I was afraid that you might do so.
